What is Workmaker?

Workmaker is a Danish sales and order management system with built-in CRM, designed for Danish service businesses — window cleaners, algae removal, moving companies, insulation firms, tradespeople and service & installation businesses. Workmaker is a relatively new provider based in Vejle, and the product is marketed as a complete solution from lead to invoice.

At Clientflow we've followed Workmaker closely — we operate in the same niche market, and we've seen multiple customers and prospects compare us directly. This piece is a commercial comparison by Clientflow, based on Workmaker's own public marketing and pricing structure. We go especially deep on price, because that's where most prospects get surprised.

Who is Workmaker built for?

Workmaker fits one narrow user group: businesses willing to prepay a full year to get half price (249 kr/user/mo instead of 499), with no need for industry-specific depth, no need for a native iOS app, and that get by with integrations to only e-conomic and Dinero.

If you prefer monthly billing — and most Danish service businesses do, because paying a full year up front is a big risk when you're testing a new system — you pay Workmaker's full monthly price of 499 kr/user/mo. That makes Clientflow Starter (199 kr/mo + 99 kr per user, so 298 kr/mo for one user, with no commitment) cheaper from the very first user.

This comparison is primarily for those who either 1) ran the math on Workmaker's monthly price and discovered it's higher than most alternatives, 2) don't want to prepay a full year to get a fair price, or 3) need industry-specific depth, a native iOS app or integrations beyond e-conomic and Dinero.

Workmaker — pros

  • Wide feature palette on paper. Workmaker covers many of the same headlines as established platforms: lead management, route planning, GPS tracking, internal chat, AI email reader, CVR lookup.
  • Danish provider with Danish focus. Workmaker is built for Danish service businesses, Danish language, Danish support.
  • E-conomic and Dinero integration. The two most-used Danish accounting systems are covered out of the box.
  • Facebook lead import. If you run Facebook ads for leads, Workmaker has direct import.
  • Live employee tracking without an extra GPS box. Tracker via app — no separate hardware needed.

Workmaker — cons

  • Monthly price is higher than Clientflow already at 1 user. Workmaker's monthly list price is 499 kr/user/mo. Clientflow Starter is 199 kr/mo + 99 kr per user with no commitment — 298 kr/mo for one user. Even one user saves 201 kr/mo by choosing Clientflow on monthly billing.
  • Half price requires annual prepayment. The marketed 50% savings (249 kr/user/mo) only applies if you pay a full year up front. If you prefer monthly flexibility, you pay full price.
  • Per-user pricing punishes growth explosively. At 5 users the bill is 2,495 kr/mo (5 × 499) on monthly — Clientflow Professional with 5 users is 1,344 kr/mo (699 + 5 × 129). You save over 1,150 kr/mo with Clientflow. At 10 users the gap is ~1,500 kr/mo.
  • No publicly advertised native iOS app. Live tracking happens via a web app — not a native app your employees open with one tap.
  • No public free trial. You can book a demo with no commitment, but there's no 14-day self-serve trial where you can test the product on your own customers without talking to a salesperson first.

Workmaker pricing in 2026 — the most important detail

Workmaker's pricing structure is the most important thing to understand before deciding. The monthly list price is 499 kr/user/mo. The half 249 kr/user/mo only applies with annual prepayment. Marketed as '50% savings' — in practice it requires paying a full year up front.

Most Danish service businesses we talk to prefer monthly billing when testing a new system. It makes sense: paying a full year up front is a big risk if the tool turns out not to fit. That means the realistic Workmaker price for most is 499 kr/user/mo — not the marketed 249 kr.

Here's what it costs at different team sizes on monthly billing (what most pay):

  • 1 user: 499 kr/mo
  • 3 users: 1,497 kr/mo
  • 5 users: 2,495 kr/mo
  • 10 users: 4,990 kr/mo
  • 20 users: 9,980 kr/mo
  • With annual prepayment: half price on all of the above

By comparison, Clientflow is plan-based with no commitment: 199 kr/mo (Starter), 699 kr/mo (Professional, includes lead module and reports), or 1,199 kr/mo (Enterprise). On top of that you pay for every user — the first one too — from 99 kr/mo (depending on plan). There's no commitment and no prepayment.

Our verdict on price: Clientflow is cheaper from the very first user when comparing what most actually pay (monthly). At 1 user you save 201 kr/mo (298 vs 499 kr/mo). At 5 users you save ~1,150 kr/mo. At 10 users the gap is ~1,500 kr/mo, or about 18,000 kr/year. Workmaker is cheapest in exactly one case: a single user who prepays a full year (249 vs 298 kr/mo). From the second user on, Clientflow is cheaper, even against Workmaker's annual price.

Alternatives to Workmaker

If Workmaker doesn't fit, you have a few Danish options:

  • Fenster — Danish, narrow focus on window cleaners. Solo plan from 99 kr/mo. Max 5–8 employees. Good choice if you exclusively clean windows and are very small.
  • Cleanmanager — established for the cleaning industry. Broader FSM functionality than Workmaker, but less industry-broad than Clientflow.
  • Minuba — established order management platform for tradespeople. Broader trades than Workmaker, but less specialized for subscription-based service businesses.
  • Ordrestyring.dk — simple order management for smaller tradespeople.

Recommendation

Workmaker has a solid set of features on paper, but the pricing structure is hard to defend for the vast majority of Danish service businesses. On monthly billing — which most prefer because paying a full year up front is a risk — Workmaker is more expensive than Clientflow already at the first user, and the gap grows explosively with team size.

Workmaker only makes sense if you're willing to prepay a full year for half price (249 kr/user/mo), and even then Clientflow is cheaper from 2 users and significantly cheaper from 3+ users. For most prospects we've talked to, the math lands clearly: Clientflow is cheaper on the monthly price.
