e-conomic integration: keep your accounting structure

Connect Clientflow with e-conomic and let invoices follow the structure your books are already built around. Customer groups, dimensions, and departments are preserved throughout — so your accountant doesn't have to recode anything afterwards. Built for businesses that have outgrown a simple accounting system.

What you get from the integration

e-conomic handles structured accounting — Clientflow handles operations. Together they preserve your existing chart of accounts and reporting structure without extra work.

Automatic invoicing

When a job is marked complete in Clientflow, the invoice is created in e-conomic with customer data, line items, and amounts ready — as a draft or posted directly.

Customer groups preserved

Every customer in Clientflow is tied to the correct customer group in e-conomic. B2C and B2B segments, payment terms, and categories follow automatically — no manual sorting.

Dimensions & departments

Invoices are posted to the right dimension from the start: department, project, profit centre, or custom dimension. Your reporting structure stays intact.

Draft or send mode

Choose whether invoices are created as drafts for review or posted and sent automatically. Switch when you're confident in the setup.

How it works in practice

You work the way you always do in Clientflow. Invoicing happens in the background — with your accounting structure intact.

1. Job is completed

The field worker marks the job as done in the mobile app — with time, materials, and notes.

2. Invoice with the right structure

Clientflow creates the invoice in e-conomic with the customer's group, dimensions, and department already set — no recoding afterwards.

3. Draft or posted

In draft mode, the invoice waits for your approval. In send mode, it's posted and sent directly.

4. Payment back to Clientflow

When the customer pays in e-conomic, status updates in Clientflow too — so you know which jobs are settled.

Setup in 5 minutes

You need an active e-conomic agreement with grant access. The rest is handled inside Clientflow.

Frequently asked questions

Does the e-conomic integration cost extra?
No. The e-conomic integration is included in every Clientflow plan. You only pay for your e-conomic subscription with e-conomic.com.
Do I have to choose between e-conomic and Dinero?
Yes — you pick one accounting system at a time. You can switch between them later, but not use both simultaneously.
How are customer groups handled when a customer is created via Clientflow?
You set a default customer group in setup, which new customers are assigned to. If a customer should be in a different group (e.g. B2B vs. B2C), you can specify that per customer in Clientflow — and it's respected when the invoice is created in e-conomic.
Can you post to our dimensions and departments?
Yes. In setup you choose the default dimension, and you can override per job if a specific invoice should post elsewhere. Respects e-conomic's full dimension system up to four levels.
What happens if an invoice fails?
An error banner appears on the relevant job in Clientflow with error details from e-conomic. Typical causes are missing VAT number, an invalid dimension combination, or an expired agreement grant. You can retry directly from the banner once the issue is resolved.
Do you support multiple e-conomic agreements in the same account?
Each Clientflow account posts to one e-conomic agreement at a time. If you run multiple companies in e-conomic and want them separated in Clientflow, contact us — we've seen several setups and will find the right one with you.
