Installing GPS devices
Clientflow ships preconfigured GPS devices — an FMT100 vehicle tracker with wires and adhesive pad pre-fitted. You fit the device in the vehicle and assign it to the right vehicle in Clientflow. The whole setup is five steps: three on the vehicle and two in Clientflow.

- This installation and activation guide
Need devices? You order them right inside Clientflow under Settings → Fleet on the GPS tab, using the Need devices? — Click here button. Tell us how many vehicles you want to equip and we'll get back to you with the next steps.
Fit the device (steps 1–3)
1. Fasten the device
Peel the adhesive pad on the back of the device and press it onto the battery, with the LED indicators facing up.
2. Connect the wires
Connect the wires directly to the battery terminals. Loosen the battery bolts slightly so the wire's terminal can be clamped in together with the car's existing wires.
- Power wire → + terminal
- Ground wire → − terminal
3. Check the indicators
When both the Status and GPS LEDs are blinking, the device is installed and working.
| Indicator | Off | Blinking |
|---|---|---|
| Status LED | Not working | Working |
| GPS LED | Searching | Signal found |
It can take a few minutes for the GPS LED to find a signal the first time. Park the vehicle somewhere with a clear view of the sky while the device searches.
Activate in Clientflow (steps 4–5)
4. Log in to Clientflow
Log in to app.clientflow.nu from a computer.
5. Assign the device to a vehicle
- Open Settings → Fleet.
- On the Vehicles tab: create the vehicle with Add Vehicle if you haven't already (name, license plate, type, fuel and an optional assigned team member).
- Switch to the GPS tab. Each device is listed by its IMEI — the long number printed on the white sticker on the device itself.
- Find the device in the list and pick the right vehicle from the dropdown in the Vehicle column. The device stays Unassigned until you pick a vehicle.
Tip: If you're fitting several devices at once, note which IMEI goes in which vehicle while you're at the car — then assigning them on the GPS tab afterwards is quick.
Once the device is assigned, positions and trips start flowing in. The status column switches to Online as soon as the device is in contact with Clientflow.
See your vehicles live
Once the devices are assigned, you see every position in real time on the Fleet page (Tracking) — a live map, trip history with route and speed, and a vehicle picker. A miniature map is also shown in the sidebar of the Calendar page while you plan.
